Helping a major utility reach its energy-efficiency targets

Since 2008, we’ve been creating education and communications programs for Toronto Hydro to help show Torontonians how to conserve energy and save money on electricity bills. The Green Living Enterprises team developed and designed several dynamic and informative creative assets, from bill inserts to billboards promoting programs such as “Refrigerator Roundup,” “Keep Cool,” “Take a Load Off” and “Beat the Peak.”

Using giveaway incentives, traditional advertising, social media campaigns, and city-wide activations, we have signed up hundreds of thousands of Toronto Hydro customers to e-bills and distributed more than 10,000 energy-saving power strips. We collaborated with partners such as Grand and Toy, Cineplex, Tide, G Adventures and Nissan to provide outstanding incentives. Best of all, we’ve helped Toronto households conserve electricity and Toronto Hydro reach its energy-efficiency targets.
